Kimberly Mathis learned to make her own clothes in high school because she didn't like what she could buy. Later she made her daughters' clothing as they were growing up, including the dresses they wore to fancy dances. She's been a physical therapist, a mother of two boys and two girls, and personal shoppers for all of them. The last seven years she has run a gift store with two other women, at her home base in Houston, Texas. And now she specializes in hand crafting baby blankets, aprons, bibs, napkins, and other cozy goods for families. Her favorite aspect of the work is curating fabric combinations to make the coziest possible cloth goods. And seeing so many babies wrapped in her love in the form of a blanket!
